Run an online quiz competition with one link

A contest needs a level field and a clear winner, not a pile of paper to count. Make your quiz, set a timer so everyone gets the same window, and share one link on WhatsApp. Every participant attempts on their phone browser with no app and no login to attempt, then a leaderboard ranks them by score first and then by speed, so the top names are clear. Free to start, you only need a free SurveyHeart account to build the contest.

How it works

Four steps from question to result

1

Create your quiz

Add MCQ, short answer, or long answer questions and set a timer that auto submits.

2

Share one link

Send a single link on WhatsApp. Students open it on any phone browser, no app or login needed to attempt.

3

Auto evaluate

MCQ and short answers are scored for you. You award marks by hand only for long answers.

4

See results and ranks

The leaderboard ranks by score, then by speed, and the report shows every student's score so you can declare winners.

Class and club quiz

A Friday GK contest, a science club round, a literary quiz. Set a timed quiz, share the link, and when the window closes the leaderboard hands you the top three. No counting, no arguing over who finished first, the rank by score and speed settles it.

Coaching ranking battles

Pit batches against each other with a NEET, JEE, SSC or Banking style contest on one shared link. A speed tie breaker rewards the student who is both right and quick, the same skill the real exam tests. Reuse the same set as a prelims round before a bigger final.

Inter school and online events

Run an inter school or inter section event online, the way big school quizzes use an online prelims to shortlist. Share one link across schools, let the leaderboard rank everyone, then take the top names into your final round. Works for an online fest, a college club, or a community contest.

How to run a fair contest

Run it like the big quizzes do

The big inter school quizzes in India follow a simple shape. An online prelims goes out wide, often as an objective paper, and the top scorers move to a stage final. You can copy that shape with one link. Use a timed quiz as your prelims, share it across classes, sections or schools, then take the top names from the leaderboard into your live final round. The hard part of a prelims, scoring hundreds of papers and ranking them, is the part Quizzory does for you.

Fairness is the whole game in a contest, and two things hold it up. First, the timer. You set a window for the quiz and it auto submits when time is up, so a student who starts late does not get extra minutes. Second, the tie break. The leaderboard ranks by score first, then by speed, so when two people get the same score, the one who answered faster ranks higher. That rewards being right and quick, which is exactly what you want in a competition.

Declaring winners is quick. After the window closes you open one report that lists every participant and their score. Refresh the leaderboard once to lock the final order, since it is not a live board and updates on refresh, then read off your top three. For a clean contest, stick to MCQ and short answer questions so everything is auto scored. If you add long answer questions, remember you have to read and mark those by hand, which slows down naming a winner.

A few honest limits to plan around. There is no negative marking, a wrong answer is zero, so if you want a penalty for guessing you will have to handle that outside the tool. Quizzory has no question bank, you set your own questions, which is normal for a real contest where the paper is yours. Participants need no account to attempt, they just tap the link. You need one free SurveyHeart account to build and run the competition, and it is free to start.

FAQ

Common questions

Is the leaderboard live?add

No. The leaderboard updates when you refresh the page. It is not real time, but it always shows the current ranks by score and then by speed when you reload.

Do students need to install an app or log in?add

No. They just open your link in any phone browser and start. No app and no login are needed to attempt the quiz.

How are answers checked?add

MCQ and short answers are scored automatically. Long answers are evaluated by hand, so you read them and award the marks yourself.

Is there negative marking?add

No. A wrong answer scores zero. Scores never go below zero.

How do I pick the winners?add

Open the report after the competition. It lists every student's score, and the leaderboard ranks them by score and then by speed, so the top names are clear.
